the information we collect and store, and what we do with it.
Browsing
We collect usage statistics for our website that tracks information
such as how many people access www.publicservicejobs.com.au, what state
they're from, and when they do it. These statistics are for
internal use only, and help us improve our website and assist with
marketing. We do not collect any information that makes it possible to
identify an individual, and we do not use cookies.
Newsletter
When you subscribe to the Public Service Jobs newsletter the only
information we collect and store about you, is the information that you
give us. That is your name, and your email address.
We only use your name and email address to send you the newsletter that
you are subscribed to. We do not sell, swap or give your
details to anyone else, or use your email address to send you anything
other than the newsletter. If you unsubscribe from the
newsletter all of your details are deleted from our database.
Purchasing
We may receive some personal information about your if you make a
purchase from this website. We use PayPal to process our
credit card payments, and they send us your name, email address and
postal address (if you have supplied it) when you make a
purchase. We do not receive your credit card

If you make a purchase by mail order, we collect your name and email
address to send you the product that you have purchased, and your phone
number to contact you if we have any problems when sending your product
by email. Your order form is stored for financial auditing
purposes, but your details will not be used by us again.
Job Applicants
If you apply for a job where one of our consultant's are on the
selection panel or act as a scribe, some information about you will be
collected. This information will include the details you have
provided as part of your application, information you divulge during
the interview that may be written down during the selection process,
opinions formed about you by the selection panel that may be written
down during the selection process and information provided about you by
your referees.
We store any hard copy information relating to selection exercises for
12 months from the time of the interview after which time it is
destroyed. We we keep copies of electronic selection reports
indefinitely. These selection reports may contain information
that identifies you.
In all instances, your information is stored securely and is not divulged to any external sources,
including any sub-contractors or business partners.
